Meet Elizabeth Hale
As a mental health provider, I believe in approaching mental health challenges with evidenced-based tools that allow a person to navigate the path to a healthier, happier life. As a human, I believe all people deserve the opportunity to access those tools in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I approach each person as an individual who has lived a unique life, has unique challenges, and is worthy of support. I enjoy working with individuals navigating the challenges of having lived traumatic events, struggle with alleviating symptoms of anxiety and depression, and feel as though they need a safe space to exist as they are.
I am focused on providing a safe environment for all clients to process difficult emotions and traumatic experiences. I have additional training in trauma-focused care, including complex trauma, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and somatic techniques. I tailor my approach to each individual.
I know from experience that healing from traumatic events is overwhelming. I also know how discouraging it can be to find the right fit in a therapist. I strive to make the process manageable and approachable for clients. And if you find that I'm not the right fit (we're human, vibes don't always mesh), I work to refer to another therapist that could be.
